MindTalk ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application MindTalk.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

To generate coaching replies, the text of your chat messages (and your first name, if provided) is sent to our secure server (hosted on Railway.app) and to our AI processing provider, Anthropic (Claude API). This is the only third party your message content is shared with, and it is used solely to generate responses in your conversation — never for advertising.

Your consent: Before any message is sent to the AI for the first time, the app shows a clear in-app notice explaining what data is sent, who it is sent to, and why, and asks for your explicit agreement. You may decline, in which case no message is sent to the AI.

Anthropic processes this data under its own privacy and security commitments that provide protections equivalent to those described here. See Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/legal/privacy.

4. Data Storage & Security

All data transmitted between the app and our server is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Subscription tokens are stored in your device's secure hardware storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). Chat history is stored locally on your device and is not permanently stored on our servers.

5. Children's Privacy

MindTalk is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

6. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the email below. Since chat data is not permanently stored on our servers, deleting the app removes your local data.

MindTalk is a wellness support tool and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed mental health professional or emergency services in your country.
